Frontline contender for the Federal House of Representatives, Ahoada East/Abua-Odual Federal Constituency, Amb. Dr. Ekwutoziam A. Ogwus Chinedu, has embarked on a political consultation and familiarization visit to Okpogudhodu Community in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The visit, described as fruitful and peaceful, forms part of his ongoing grassroots engagement across communities in the constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Dr. Ekwutoziam was received by traditional leaders, community stakeholders, youths and women groups in the community, who turned out in large numbers to interact with him.
Addressing the people, the House of Representatives hopeful said his political journey is anchored on humility, purposeful leadership and inclusive governance.
"I sincerely appreciate our traditional leaders, stakeholders, youths, beautiful women, and the entire Okpogudhodu community for the warm reception, overwhelming support, and meaningful engagement. Your hospitality and willingness to share your thoughts and concerns are truly appreciated," he said.
He reaffirmed his commitment to people-driven representation, noting that listening to the grassroots remains central to building a stronger and more prosperous constituency.
"My political journey is driven by humility, purposeful leadership, and a genuine commitment to listening to the people and working towards a better future for our communities. Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive, and prosperous Ahoada East and Abua/Odual," he added.
The consultation tour continues across other communities in Ahoada East and Abua/Odual Federal Constituency.
