Popular social media activist, VeryDarkMan, popularly known as VDM, has urged Nigerians to reject vote-buying ahead of the next general elections.
VDM made the call on Saturday during the commissioning of Odhiokwu Secondary School in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Speaking at the event, the activist, known as The Voice of the Voiceless, cautioned citizens against trading their future for a small amount of money.
In his words: "Will 5k be enough for another 4 years? If the answer is No, then listen to your conscience!!! This is an advice from The voice of the Voiceless."
He advised voters to think beyond immediate financial inducement and consider the long-term consequences of their choices at the polls.
The commissioning of the school project attracted community leaders, youths and residents of Ahoada West LGA.
