Ahoada West/ONELGA Fed Constituency: ADC Candidate Unveils AI-Driven Job Creation Plan
The House of Representatives Candidate for Ahoada West / Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni (ONELGA) Federal Constituency under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Hon. Manuwa Morgan Ogiri, has pledged to leverage Artificial Intelligence to tackle youth unemployment and create sustainable jobs if elected.
Hon. Ogiri made the pledge in an exclusive interview with Ekpeye TV in Port Harcourt.
According to the federal lawmaker hopeful, the future of work is in technology, and Ekpeye youths must be positioned to benefit from the global AI economy rather than be left behind.
"My plan is simple. I will use AI to create jobs," Ogiri said. "We will train our young people in AI skills, prompt engineering, data labelling, content creation, and tech-enabled services that can earn them income right from Ahoada West and ONELGA."
He noted that his blueprint includes establishing an AI and Digital Skills Hub within the constituency, where youths and women will be trained, mentored and connected to remote job opportunities and international freelancing platforms.
Hon. Ogiri stressed that his representation will focus on human capital development, digital empowerment and innovation-driven employment, especially for graduates and unemployed youths in Ekpeye land.
He called on constituents to support the ADC and his candidacy in the forthcoming election, promising inclusive and forward-thinking representation.
