OGBELE, Ahoada East LGA, Rivers State — Healthcare delivery has been grounded at the Ogbele Community Health Center following severe flooding that has submerged the facility.
The flood has taken over the entire health center, leaving residents without access to basic medical services.
Members of the community are now making a passionate appeal to the Rivers State Government, the companies operating in the area, and the Honourable Member representing Ahoada East Constituency 2, to urgently intervene.
According to residents, the health center is the only hope for medical care for many families in Ogbele, and its current state poses a serious health risk to the community.
They are calling on the authorities to come to their aid, stating that protecting the lives and welfare of the people is the reason they were elected and are in business in the area.
The community is urging the Rivers State Government to do something urgently before the situation gets worse.
