King Otuwarikpo Returns, Resumes Office

After two weeks of medical vacation, the Nye-ishi Ele Upata Lowetu li Nye Udu Upata III of Upata Kingdom, HRM Nye Udu Felix Enene Otuwarikpo, Fnipr resumed duties on Monday, 28 November.
In a brief handover ceremony at the Udho Nye Udu Upata in Edeoha, Nye Udu Otuwarikpo commended HRH Nye Udu Moses Daniel Agbezi, Nye Udu Ugbokor Upata I, for brilliantly steering the affairs of the office during the period, while he promised to work ceaselessly for the growth and development of Upata Kingdom.
Noting unity as the bedrock of any society, the Upata traditional ruler called on sons and daughters to always think home especially that the recent flooding has caused massive damage in Upataland.
An elated Nye Udu Agbezi, thanked the Upata traditional ruler for finding him worthy to serve Upata Kingdom during his absence, that he learnt "great lessons" as acting Nye Udu Upata.
While he prayed for the Monarch's good health and divine wisdom in the tasks ahead, Nye Udu Agbezhi briefed him on various issues that happened within the period.
Shortly after, in company of Nye Udu Agbezhi, the Monarch inspected the Nigeria Police Regional Clinic that was billed for commissioning before the flood. The Clinic was among houses submerged by the recent flooding.
