Ogbele Community Congratulates Hon. Napoleon Ukalikpe, Endorses Him for 2027 Re-election

Leaders and indigenes of Ogbele Community in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State have paid a congratulatory visit to the member representing Ahoada East Constituency II in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Napoleon Ukalikpe, declaring total support for his re-election in 2027.


The delegation was led by Prof. Smart Amala, who described the lawmaker's performance in his first six months in office as impactful and qualitative.


Prof. Amala, a renowned Professor of Medical Laboratory Science, described Hon. Ukalikpe as a "golden fish" and a light to Ogbele Community and the entire Ekpeye Nation.


"We are here to congratulate you on your election victory and to declare the total support of the Ogbele Community for your re-election," Prof. Amala said.


He said the community was proud to identify with the lawmaker and urged him to sustain meaningful engagement and collaboration with the State Government to attract more developmental and people-oriented projects to the constituency.


Prof. Amala also lauded the lawmaker for initiating a project aimed at bringing relief to residents of Odiabidi and Obumeze communities within his short time in office.


According to him, the project includes the construction of the Obumeze-Odiabidi Bridge, a major drainage system, clearing of the boundary canal leading to the Sombreiro River, and construction of a modern toilet facility.


"This project you embarked on is laudable and will stand the test of time. History will be kind to you," he added.


In his response, Hon. Ukalikpe thanked the leaders and people of Ogbele Community for the visit and called for greater unity, peace and development in the community.


He urged elders, elites, youths and women to work together to foster peace, noting that peace remains a prerequisite for progress and development.


The lawmaker also expressed gratitude to God and appreciated the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr. Nyesom Wike, for his role in his political advancement and emergence as a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly.


Hon. Ukalikpe reaffirmed that his primary focus remains making laws that will be beneficial to the people of Rivers State and particularly his constituents in Ahoada East Constituency II.
