The visit took place at the Eze Ekpeye Logbo Stool in Igbu-Akoh Kingdom, Rivers State.

Hon. Job, a proud daughter of the ancient Igbu-Akoh Kingdom, said the visit afforded her the opportunity to pay respects to the traditional institution, receive royal blessings, and reaffirm her connection to her cultural heritage.

The visit comes amid the temporary assumption of responsibilities as Eze Ekpeye Logbo by His Majesty, Eze Ikegbidi, following the handover of duties by His Imperial Majesty, Eze Sir (Amb.) Kelvin Ngozi Anugwo, JP, DSSRS, Eze Ekpeye Logbo III.

According to the traditional council, the Caretaker Eze Ekpeye Logbo convened a joint meeting of the Eze Ekpeye Logbo-in-Council and the Igbu-Akoh Council to brief stakeholders on administrative arrangements for both the Igbu-Akoh Kingdom and the wider Ekpeye ethnic nationality during his one-month stewardship.

At the meeting, His Majesty assured that there would be no changes to the existing personnel working with the Eze Ekpeye Logbo, stressing continuity, stability and orderly administration.

Clarifying the development, His Royal Highness, Eze Chigbo John, Nyeso Eze Ekpeye Logbo, stated that the temporary absence of the Ekpeye monarch was for rest and personal time away from demanding engagements, and not on account of ill health. He expressed confidence that His Imperial Majesty would return after the one-month period by the grace of God.
