AHOADA, Rivers State - Hon. Irene Chinembudu Job, the House of Representatives Candidate for Abua/Odual and Ahoada East Federal Constituency under the NDC, on Tuesday put smiles on the faces of commercial motorcycle riders in Ahoada with free distribution of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
The candidate was seen dispensing fuel free of charge to okada riders at a filling station in Ahoada town, an intervention aimed at cushioning the effects of high fuel cost on transporters.
Beneficiaries, who trooped out in large numbers, commended the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful.
Hon. Job said the initiative is part of her commitment to touching the lives of the people where it matters most, especially grassroots workers who depend on daily fuel for their livelihood.
The free PMS distribution is one of several people-oriented programs lined up by the candidate ahead of the general elections.
