"Forever In Our Hearts, Never To Be Forgotten" - Family Celebrates Life and Legacy

The family of the late Mr. Chairman Bennett, popularly known as Achan, has held a Memorial Thanksgiving Service in his honour, celebrating his life, legacy and cherished memories.

In a heartfelt tribute signed on behalf of the family by Rt. Hon. Dr. Ehie Edison, Esq., DSSRS, the family said the memorial was organized with gratitude to Almighty God for the life of their dearly departed brother.

According to the family, though his departure has created a vacuum that words cannot describe, they remain grateful to God for the privilege of sharing precious moments with him.

The family described the late Achan as a gift whose memories are treasures and whose legacy will forever remain an indelible part of their family history.

"Today, as we remember you, we choose to celebrate the beautiful life you lived rather than dwell solely on the pain of your absence," the tribute read. "We thank God for the years He granted you, the lives you touched, and the unforgettable memories that continue to bring comfort and warmth to our hearts."

The siblings noted that while death may have taken him from their physical presence, it can never erase the love they have for him. They affirmed that his name will continue to be remembered and his place in their hearts will remain untouched by time.

They also expressed gratitude to God for His grace, strength and comfort throughout their period of grief, finding peace in His promises.

Quoting Proverbs 10:7 (KJV) - “The memory of the just is blessed” - the family said they give all glory to God for the gift of his life and the privilege of having him as a beloved member of the family.

The family prayed for his continued rest in the bosom of the Almighty until the resurrection morning.
