PEACE IS PARAMOUNT AND WE MUST WORK COLLECTIVELY TO MAINTAIN IT IN EKPEYE LAND

~ Rep. Victor Obuzor Charges Uzugbani Ekpeye

The honourable member representing Ahoada-West and Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Federal Constituency, Hon. (Engr) Victor Obuzor, MNSE, DSSRS has reiterated the importance of Peace and Harmony in Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality, Rivers State.

The Federal Lawmaker made this acknowledgement while addressing the Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality Apex Socio-Cultural Organization (Uzugbani Ekpeye) - Abuja Branch as they paid him an appreciation/appeal visit in his office at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja on Monday 18th of September, 2023.

Uzugbani Ekpeye - Abuja Chapter led by the Chairman, Insp. Obodo Okirie said the aim of the visit was to appreciate the Honourable Member for his open door policies in bid to develop his Constituency, for securing a job for one of their members and to solicit for his assistance on the immediate needs of the organization.

Rep. Victor Obuzor commended the organization for their representation of the Ekpeye People in Abuja and charged them to work collectively with all the branches and other bodies to help in maintaining peace in Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality. 

"We have to improve the correspondence and collaborations to pull down insecurity in our land. I consider Peace very paramount for development, It is not fair what is happening right now in Ekpeye Land, it is very embarrassing. But by the grace of God, this menace will be put to an end.

"We have to create programs to reorient our youths and give them sustainable empowerment, that way, we can cushion the spread of crime in Ekpeye Land.

Rep. Victor Obuzor also pledged continuous solidarity to the development of Ekpeye, said more opportunities and good tidings will always get to the People.

"I will support your programs as much as i can. I'm available and ready to work with the organization and every well meaning Ekpeye Forum to achieve a better Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality" he added.
