For Prof. Victor Akujuru, President General of the apex socio cultural organization of the Upata people, Uzugbani Upata from Ihuowo Community, the event calls for celebration.

The traditional marriage ceremony and Holy matrimony at St. John's Anglican Church, Ihuowo Deanery, Ahoada Diocese of his daughter, Ibala Jane Akujuru, took place amidst the gathering of men and women of class in Upata Kingdom and beyond.

Among dignitaries who graced the occasion were the Nye-ishi Ele Upata Lowetu li Nye Udu Upata III of Upata Kingdom, HRM Nye Udu Felix Enene Otuwarikpo, Fnipr who, prayed for sustenance of love, long life and good health in their marriage, advising them to avoid third party.

To the couple, Ibala and her husband, Ogeche Ojonugwa Agba, from Kogi State, theirs is a union found in love, as they looked forward to growing higher in love till their old age.

The event came with expected glamour and style as the couple danced to the tunes of melodious sounds and music.
