RIVERS PEOPLE WILL NOT VOTE DESPERATE PEOPLE

I Pastor Warigbani Ezekiel, the Governorship Candidate of African Action Congress AAC Rivers State wish to use this medium to address Rivers people to discontenounce moves and plea by the State Governor, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike, to corral gullible voters in the state into supporting and voting for Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Party (APC). To save his drowning political career.

This move by Gov. Wike is a desperate action of a failed leader who in 8 years in office did not impact positively in the lives of our people. 

Wike's reign in office as Governor was a collosal failure, hallmarked by executive rascality, total disregard for rule of law, due process and financial brigandage. 

Wike's tenure will remain a nightmare in the annals of governance in Rivers political history. In pursuit of his personal, grandious quest to be the ruler of Nigeria, Gov. Wike splashed billions of naira and hard currencies belonging to Rivers people, in what may become the most bizarre episodes in the history of politicking. 

In his infantile plot to woe Nigerians especially PDP members outside Rivers State to support his Presidential dream, Gov. Wike wasted the following mind bugling sums of Rivers money; 

I) 300 million of Rivers money to APC women in Lagos at a time when Gov. Wike deceived Rivers women to register Cooperatives Society Associations for loan and forced them to pay certain amount of money to Rivers State Ministry of Commerce and Industry to enable them Access the loans which most of the women borrowed money to get that done but till today the loan never saw the light of the day.

2) 500 Million to Gov. Ortom of Benue state, at a time when gratuities of pensioners are with, workers salaries are being owed for months.

3) 20 billion naira to aid his emergence as PDP presidential flag bearer, when Rivers State Youths are languishing in poverty as a result of unemployment and human capital development. 

4) 24 billion earmarked for rigging his lackey and stooge into office as governor.  

VOTE SDP FOR GOVERNOR..

5) Over 200 buses worth more than 10 billion donated to political interests in Cross River, Ebonyi and Benue states, at a time the state owned Rivers Transport Company, is dead and buried. 

6) Over 40 Billion of Rivers State hard earned internally generated revenues and Federal Government Rivers State allocation is being recklessly spent on a selfish drive with a code name ''G-5 (Integrity Group) which lacks integrity and have since turned to G-1 because of double standard.

7) Over 6 Billion wasted on live coverages by TV stations outside Rivers state, on flimsy commissioning of projects, while the state owned Rivers State Television languishes with antiquated equpiments. Gov. Wike shows his pretentious Philanthropical gestures outside Rivers State while our people suffers in abject poverty. If I may ask, is Gov. Wike only a father Christmas outside Rivers State?

Gov. Wike's wickedness on Rivers people is now legendary and qualifies to be in the Guiness Book of World Records.

Ordinarily, Rivers people should be in an upbeat mood that in a few months, this nightmare will be over, but this is not so. Gov. Wike has contrived a most devious gamble to sell Rivers votes to Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC as a ruse to extend the nightmarish anguish of his ill-fated rule by handing over to himself!

It is time to tell Gov. Wike that he does not own the vote of Rivers people. Rivers people are free and have the right to exercise their franchise without the garrulous interference of Gov. Wike. 

It is important to let Gov. Wike know that the 2023 election will be about credible candidates and not about political parties. 

As the Presidential Election draws closer, I therefore call on Rivers voters to ignore the shenanigans of Gov. Wike and insist on voting for credibility, competence, character and integrity.

To this effect, I hereby Endorse the Former Vice President His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. As I also direct my teaming supporters, Support Groups and Rivers people to vote the most credible candidate - The Unifier" in the 2023 Presidential Election, in the person of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

The 2023 election represents a watershed in the history of this nation. This is the time to get it right. This is the time to keep individual ambitions and interests aside and work for the collective survival of our people.

I therefore reassure all my teeming supporters that our case in the Supreme Court over the rightful candidate of our party, will soon be resolved in my favour and my name will be on the ballot as the undisputed governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) Rivers State, and we shall win together at last.
