Eze Anugwo, Ikegbidi, Okpokiri, Eyiba Visit Otuwarikpo Over Mother's Death

Eze Ekpeye Logbo III, Eze (Amb.) HIM Sir Kelvin Ngozi Anugwo, FNIM led other traditional rulers on Saturday, to pay condolence visits on the Nye Udu Upata III of Upata Kingdom, HRM Nye Udu Felix Enene Otuwarikpo, Fnipr over his mother’s death.


In his condolence, Eze Anugwo said the contributions of the deceased in the lives of so many, especially her children would remain indelible.


He said himself and family, including the Ekpeye traditional institution were deeply shocked because she wasn’t particularly old, so we were shocked that she had passed on.


That they ought to have been here earlier because the deceased was dear particularly at the time her son, Nye Udu Otuwarikpo needed her advice to assist steer the affairs of Upata Kingdom, noting sadly that the "loss is very personal to us as well, that is why we came to commiserate with the Upata royal family as well as the good people of Upata Kingdom."


All that the family are left with is the memories, especially the contributions in the lives of others that the departed had made, Nye Udu Otuwarikpo noted but reminded that the family is however confident that in the case of their mother who made significant contributions in the lives of so many, especially those who are less privileged, the poor and the vulnerable, her foot prints will remain indelible in minds.
