Ekpeye Needs to Change its Strategy to Grow! Ekpeye Can Be a Food Exporter
By Caroline Solomon Egbelu
The fact is that politics don’t seem to produce lasting benefit for Ekpeye, although some benefit, and no traditional stool has created any beneficial business in Ekpeye.
It is time to rethink how to grow Ekpeye to make politics unattractive to Ekpeye youths and traditional stools undesirable, except to those who are truly called by destiny to be.
Some of you may already know me as an Agricultural Economist with interest in food manufacturing. I have the privilege through my young company, Health Enhanced Foods, of traveling and exhibiting at international trade shows around the world.
A year ago while I was in Dubai as part of a delegation of US-UAE Agribusiness Trade Mission and at Istanbul, Turkey on my way home, I made some short videos about my vision of Ekpeye as a food exporter. I truly believe that the world needs what Ekpeye has.
It is time that our highly educated and experienced leadership both traditional and political, be supported and not be distracted, to create environment to help make Ekpeye a food manufacturer and exporter in Nigeria and the world.
I pray that soon my vision would become a reality.

Proudly Ekpeye!
